MEET AUTOROPA - TOBBE PERSSON

Torbjörn "Tobbe" Persson 58, lives in Vimmerby, Småland with my girlfriend and dog.

WHO IS TOBBE PERSSON?

I have worked as a bus and truck driver for many years, I started back in 1986. I have had some breaks for other jobs, but five years ago when I got the question I couldn´t say no. and I really enjoy it. It´s a privilege to experience new places and new meetings every day!

One of my biggest interests is motor vehicles and, above all motorcycles. I own about ten different which I use frequently during spring and summer. In the autumn and winter, I spend most of time in the woods, hunting with my dog.

WHY AUTOROPA?

I have known Martin and his family for over 30 years and it was through him I got the chance to this job. Already from the start I feel that have found the right place, it is such an exciting job where I get to be out on the roads every day, which I really enjoy. Most of all it is so rewarding to deliver the cars to super grateful and happy customers and I also enjoy being a part of racing and other customer events.

FAVOURITE EXPERIENCE WITH AUTOROPA?

I get to experience special and unique things all the time. One time paparazzi filmed when I delivered the first Monza SP2  in Sweden ant another time when I drove a Daytona into a hotel lobby and all the guests  had to make room in the entrance.

FAVOURITE CAR?

I have a huge fondness for American cars, but if it's a Ferrari, it's the 250 GT coupé from 1959.
