MEET AUTOROPA - JESS KJELLBERG

Being able to combine my biggest hobby with my daily work is a luxury!

Jess Kjellberg, 52, lives in Falsterbo with my girlfriend.

WHO IS JESS KJELLBERG?

I have worked with Ferrari as a mechanic since 2007. The first years were with Formula in Denmark. I have now been here at Autorupa for 9 years and I am lucky enough to be able to mix my hobby with my job, which is racing and restoring older cars with my everyday life and all the new technology that comes in the new cars today. In my spare time I go hunting and spend a lot of time on our sailboat.

WHY AUTOROPA?

After my time at Formula I wanted to try something new with Ferrari and through the Frerrari Challenge I got to know Martin Nelson. I contacted Martin and went to visit Autoropa and came back with a new job and now it's been 9 years, it's been a great journey with lots of experiences and I feel this is the right place for me. I am constantly developing and with all the courses within Ferrari, I am always uptodate.

FAVORITE EXPERIENCE AT AUTOROPA?

 It's always a good experience to solve a problem on a car, but the absolute best part of my job is seeing the smiles on our customers after a track day or when they come to Autoropa to pick up their new car

YOUR DREAM CAR?

If I had to say just one it would be a Ferrari 430 Scuderia Spider 16 M. I think it has a little bit of everything that makes it useful both everyday and for a track day or a day with the open top and sunshine.
