The first weekend in September has been a
huge event-weekend for us for several years back in time. Autoropa Racing Days
is a “track day” for two whole days, it´s dinners, a super VIP hospitality lounge,
huge party on the Saturday, and lots of people with the same passion, Ferrari!
After a few
years break during covid we finally had the pleasure to arrange it again. We have really been looking forward to this
fantastic Ferrari weekend. The interest was huge for the event and all previous
records was broken, we gathered more Ferrari´s in one place at the same time
than ever have been done before in the Nordic. There was a total of 332 cars on
site. A unique variety of models from the 60´s until today. During the weekend
we spotted Limited Edition cars such as the F40, Enzo, LaFerrari, Monza SP2
& Daytona, 599 GTO, F12 TDF, 812 Competizione, modern and classic race cars
that stretched out onto the track. A collection of Ferraris never before seen
in the Nordics!
Ferrari Club Sweden 50th anniversary
This year was
Sweden's turn to host the annual Ferrari Owners Nordic Meet, and as if that wasn´t
enough, the Ferrari Owners Club Sweden is also celebrating its 50th anniversary
this year, so we combined these three events into one big Ferrari party!
Ferrari Roma
Spider launch
To
maximise the experience even more, we launched the stunningly beautiful Ferrari
Roma Spider during the Friday evening. It was a impressive show with lights and
skilled dancers. The car was of course welcomed with huge applause.
Östergötland Grand Tour
We started
the sunny Saturday with a tour on the the beautiful roads in the surroundings. The
tour took us from the city centre of Norrköping to the track, Mantorp Park,
just outside Linköping.
One of the
absolute highlights during the weekend was when all the 332 cars lined up and
drove together for a few laps at a leisurely pace and show off all the
fantastic Ferrari to the audience. We were followed by drones and photographers
who immortalized this wonderful moment. Then the cortege continued straight
onto the motorway and drove back in a nice motorcade to Norrköping. Not an
everyday sight!!
